Government To Cancel 3rd Terms In Secondary Schools

Governor Seyi Makinde’s led government of Oyo State state has revealed that 2019/2020 third term session for secondary schools is cancelled.

The development was coming following a meeting by the State Executive Council on Tuesday, July 21, 2020.

News understands that the government had approved the measures to aide the resumption of schools and associated educational activities in the state.

The Oyo State government hinted that as a result of the development,

continuous assessments of both 1st and 2nd term would be used as a yardstick to determine promotion of affected classes.
